Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to the Pearl of Africa
Your Ugandan adventure begins with a warm welcome from our team at Entebbe International Airport. After a briefing, transfer to your accommodation to relax after your journey. Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, set off for Kibale Forest National Park, the primate capital of the world. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and enjoy the tranquil forest surroundings of Kibale Forest. Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
The day starts with an exciting trek into Kibale Forest to track and encounter habituated chimpanzees. Listen to their loud calls echoing throughout the forest as you approach their territory. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these intelligent primates in their natural habitat, carousing about.In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. It is a community-run conservation area known for its rich biodiversity, teeming with vitality. Animals you will see include the illusive colobus monkeys. Depart Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and head for the tranquil beauty of Lake Bunyonyi, renowned for its 29 picturesque islands scattered across its calm waters. Upon arrival, embark on a canoe ride to explore the islands, each with its own unique story and cultural significance. Interact with local communities on the islands, where you’ll learn about traditional farming, fishing, and crafts. The lake’s name, meaning “Place of Many Little Birds,” highlights the abundance of birdlife, including the colorful weaver birds and grey-crowned cranes.
