Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Forest
After breakfast, you will set off for a scenic drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park with lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center. We shall arrive at the lodge in the evening. Depending on your energy, we will have an optional community walk for the Batwa ‘pygmies’ experience.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking and transfer to lake bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing by the park rangers about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Continue for the memorable activity in an evergreen forest that may take 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the primates. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour, then descend and meet your guide for a transfer to Lake bunyonyi for Dinner and overnight stay
Day 3: Fun activities at Lake Bunyonyi
In the morning after your breakfast, you will kick of to a very exciting day at Lake Bunyonyi. Choose from the following activities; Canoeing, boat ride around the 29 islands on the lake (most of these islands have interesting historical stories), Zip lining, Afternoon swimming, quad biking and nature walks
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning after your breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park arriving in the afternoon for lunch before before going for launch drive along the kazinga channel where you will have chances to see animals like hippos, crocodiles buffaloes and birds like African fish eagle, king fishers, herons, blue turaco and many more.
We shall do an evening game drive en-route to the lodge after the launch drive.
Day 5: Transfer to Kampala.
Early morning, you will have your breakfast and then head to the park for an earl morning game drive where you have chances to see lions, leopards, hyenas, Elephants, Warthogs among others. After the game drive, you will then transfer to Kampala with lunch en route and photography at the equator, reaching in the evening to your hotel or transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
